The article discusses the motivations for volunteering in Zetland based on the results of opinion polls. The largest proportion of respondents (48%) cited bringing benefit and helping others as their motivation, while exploring new places was the least chosen (8%). The author believes that volunteering is important for society and suggests that volunteers should attend a preparation course and work under the supervision of experienced colleagues to ensure effectiveness and safety.
